Dhana (Dhan Bahadur) Rai, the managing director of trekking agency "Wilderplaces Nepal", was born (Feb 16th 1971) in the region of Mt. Everest, Solukhumbu, Taksindu VDC-1, Phuleli village; Went to the school (established by Sir Edmund Hillary) at Nunthala & Junbesi, while got the opportunities to be participated in trekking activities. After school- went to the university in Kathmandu during 1989-1994. Participated on Naya Khanga (5846m) & Lobuche (6119m) trekking peaks climbing in 1992, and worked as a high altitude cook assistant on First Irish Everest Expedition-1993, thence Climbed several trekking peaks such as Island peak & Lobuche several times, Tent peak, Chulu East as well and participated as a member on Irish Nepalese Jongsang Expedition-1998, climbed many mountains in Alps including Mt. Blanc. Organized several eco cultural treks and adventure trekking trips in the Himalayas.

Obtained the training course as a trekking guide, rock climbing, first aid course and mountaineering.

Registered the trekking agency "Wilderplaces Nepal" in the year of 2004, has been working as a managing director, creating opportunities for his staff to enable them for trekking cook & guide, Rock climbing & mountaineering, first aid courses etc. and proud to have qualified staff.
Worked to establish the school (Saraswati Primary) in Phuleli in the year of 1986, worked as a volunteer teacher, and still has been involving to support the school and his community as a social welfare.

Visited Ireland, England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and some part of Austria in Europe, Sikkim & Darjeeling of India, Tibet of China. Speaks Khaling, Nepalese, English, some Sherpa & German languages.
