Dhan Maya Rai, the office assistant, was born (jan 18th 1975) in the heart of Rachha village, in the region of Mt. Everest of Solukhumbu. Went to the government (Himalayan secondary) school at Khastap.

Worked as a volunteer worker for the school of Basa Khali in Rapchha to support the school and  her community as a social welfare works while she was at home village; Loves her own culture, able to produce traditional costumes, participated on several cultural functions.

Obtained the training course of food production and control. She has participated on trekking sometimes and is an admirable chef to produce delicious meals and is a friendly and hard working person.

visited Germany and some parts of Switzerland, France and Austria in Europe, Darjeeling of India. Speaks Khaling, Nepalese, some English and Hindi languages.
