Known as Jetha (Nou Bahadur) Rai, was born (1959) in the heart of Phuleli, Mt. Everest region in Solukhumbu. He has been involved in several trekking and expedition as an assistant staff since the year of 1985. He has worked on the Irish Manaslu Expedition -1991, Pumori expedition.

He has obtained the training course as food production and control. He has admirable reputation for trekking cook, friendliness and helpful; is one of senior cook in the staff.

He is one of most helpful and senior person for his own community. He works as a philanthropic person for the social development. He was involved to established the school (Saraswati Primary) 1986, and still working to support the school and community in the village while he gets leisure time.

He has visited many places of Nepal as well as some parts of India, Tibet. He speaks Khaling, Nepalese, Hindi, Tamang, Sherpa languages and some English .
