Kaman Rai, is one of senior cook of "Wilderplaces Nepal",  was born (1969) in the region of Mt. Everest, Solukhumbu, Basa VDC-8, Rapchha, Suksaley village; is a literate.

Obtained Trekking cook (food production and control) training,  in Kathmandu; Has done several trekking tours in the Himalayas since 1990s, 

He is very hard working and helpful person. Speaks Khaling, Nepalese and some English languages.
